It represents 2% of the total food retail business through all stores in the UK. And considerably more in areas of the country where they were dominant. They had major shares of many markets - such as toys where they had 14%.
The core to their business, Home Entertainment represented nearly half of this Although the Woolworth model stretched right from DVD's to Games and Puzzles. However, other areas such as home textiles and childrens clothes - were also destinations.
