Update Flags   Return to Online Manuals   When you open Update Flags this is what you will see. First click which opens the connections to both Rackspace and Opteron servers. When all the connections are opened you will get the message shown below with the red enclosure, and you will see the list of recent EPOS Uploaded in the area with the green surround.   Next click which copies any data you have copied centrally in EPOS Data into various tables on both servers. EPOS Data copies the data it has validated to a single table in a single database (neweposdata.tbl_new_eposdata on the Opteron), which is used as a clearing house. No data is kept here permanently. This button copies the EPOS data into eposdata and eposdata_subset_xxx, it populates tbl_brand_data_owner & tbl_product_data_owner and where appropriate it puts Results data into tbl_history and calculates the Increases. All these tables are in Web, and it copies the data to both servers. When it has finished copying the data to all the places listed above, it is removed from tbl_new_eposdata, and it will now appear on the list shown in this application. When all the EPOS data has been copied you will get this message.   If you want to leave this running overnight and to finish everything which is listed as needing to be done click , but some of these things can put a demand on the servers, so unless it is urgent it should not be done during office hours.   All of these buttons work on both servers on all data which is available.   Everything below where messages appear are subject to the filtering done by these options. You can choose to only do calculations on one server, and or you can choose to only do the calculations on the selected sets of data. The items selected have Yes underneath   Only tick this when the Opteron is down.   Click to calculate opportunity, on the data specified above, which does not opportunity already. The records of which epos data has opportunity are also updated by this. Click to calculate brand builder performance. You can only do this to epos data which has opportunity already calculated for it. Click to refresh the list of recent data below.   You can filter the list of recent epos data using these drop downs to set the criteria. To return the drop down to blank - ie not filter by the criteria you had previously set, right click it.
