You will see that there is a header underneath the Menu Title. This allows you to preset the criteria for downloads, and who you want the data to belong to.
|
|
| Data Tag |
This shows you, and allows you to set, the name which the data will be gathered under centrally. This allows you to have several bits of information, but separated by different user names. This is required
|
| Client |
This presets a criteria for the downloads, and is optional.
|
| Start Week Date |
This presets a criteria for the downloads, and you will see that the week date is automatically populated when you enter a date. It is optional.
|
| End Week Date |
This presets a criteria for the downloads, and you will see that the week date is automatically populated when you enter a date. It is optional.

Download CACI Strengths & Opportunity Product Level
|
|
This takes you to where you can fine tune the criteria, and then download at product level CACI Strengths and Opportunity.
|
|
Download Opportunity Product Level
|
|
This takes you to where you can fine tune the criteria, and then download Opportunity at product level .
|
|
Prepare for Recalculation of Opportunity
|
|
This takes you to where you can fine tune the criteria, and then populate tbl_hasopp_rankchange, which lists epos data ready for opportunity to be calculated on.

Download CACI Strengths & Opportunity Product Level

This form reflects the preset criteria on the previous form.

4 criteria are required to do a download of Product CACI Strength data, most of which are preset on the previous form.
|
| Brand |
BEN is selected as the client, as a manufacturer, which means that the download will include data from all the brands which have BEN listed as the Manufacturer.
|
| Group |
There is no default group setting.
|
| Time Period |
404 - 24 Sep 2007 is listed as the Start Week Date and 404 - 24 Sep 2007 is listed as the End Week Date.
|
| Destination |
Realize.mdb is the default destination, which in this case will be in a local table in Realize.mdb in C:\Program Files\Realize\, in this case tbl_local_CACI_Strength_Product.
|
|
|
This form is sub-divided to reflect these criteria.

Brand

There are 2 ways you can define the brands you want to download, with a couple of tweaks available on top.
|
|
You can select a client, which is the default, who can either be a manufacturer or an interested party. Manufacturer gets all the brands which list the selected client as their manufacturer. Interested Party gets all the brands which we have data about, where the owner of the data is the selected client.
|
|

|
You can also select any number of individual brands.
|
|
If you have limited it to data owned by the client, you will only be offered brands which they own data of.
|
|
To add a brand find it in the list of available brands, which is alphabetic, and then either double click it, or click the arrow pointing right.
|
|
The right and left arrows will become available when it is appropriate.
|
The arrow pointing left removes a brand from the selected list.
|
The double arrow pointing left removes all the selected brands from the selected list.
|
On the left of the list of available brands you will see an apply filter button and a remove filter button . These allow you to filter the list of available brands.
|
When you click the apply filter button you will see this form appear. Select a client.
|
|
To back out of this form just click
|
Click the apply filter button , and the list of available brands will be a lot shorter.
|
You will also see that the double arrow pointing right
will now work.
|
To see the original brands again just click the remove filter button .
|

Group
|
|
|
You have 2 choices here, All, and Some, with Some as the default.
|
If you want more than one group leave the default. Select each group you want to add, and either double click it, or click the arrow pointing right .
|
|
It will not cause any problems if you only select one group.
|
As soon as you have added at least one the arrow pointing left
will be available to you to unselect a group.
|

If you select All, before the data is gathered centrally, all the groups which we have data for the brands selected in the set time period will be found and the data for these groups will be gathered.

Time Period & Destination
|

|
You will see that the dates you set on the previous form are automatically selected. If they were omitted before they will be blank.
|

To change the start or end week date, just select a different one from the drop down lists

The lists contain all historic week dates.

Last of all you need to select where you want the downloaded data to be saved. Your choices are

Realize.mdb
|
This saves the data in a local table in Realize.mdb in C:\Program Files\Realize\, in this case tbl_local_CACI_Strength_Product.

| Fixed CSV |
This saves the data in a CSV file of fixed location C:\Program Files\Realize\, with a fixed name, in this case CACIProductStrength.csv. This is the default
|
| CSV |
This saves the data in a CSV file identical to the created by Fixed CSV, but you will be asked for its name and location.
|
|

|
You may also want to change some miscellaneous settings
|
|
Fast is ticked by default, and it means no pauses between actions sent to the server during the gathering of data.
|
|
Untick this if you want to minimize the load on the server, but it will take longer.
|
|
Empty Table is unticked by default, which means nothing is done. If you tick this the destination table in Realize.mdb will be emptied before you download the new data.

Once you are happy with all your choices click the lightening button
