NB When you click , a list of all the active, non-duplicate outlets belonging to the store group of the job will be downloaded into Outlet Selection. Any outlets already selected for the job online, will be marked as selected here. The most important button is
It saves your changes to where it can be seen from online.
| |
NB This application works on a copy of the data you see online, so the changes have to be actively fed back to it, and that is what this button does.
| |
NB If you make changes and do not click this, the changes you have made will not show online, and will be lost when you leave this form.
| |
NB It will not do any harm to click this twice. If you have made some changes and are unsure if you have clicked this, click it again to make sure.

takes you back to the list of Jobs.
| |
When you click

you will be asked
Click Yes if you do want your changes visible online, or No if you want to dump your changes.
| |
The buttons near the top of this form allow you to sort the list of outlets in alternating ascending and descending order. Click the relevant button.
| |
Directly below the list of outlets (the white boxes) you will see a grey box like this.
This box contains the full address of the last outlet you put the cursor into, clicked on. You will notice as you click on one outlet and then on another the address shown here changes.
| |
Near the bottom of the form there are a set of boxes and buttons which allow you to filter the list of outlets.
To shorten the list of outlets:
| - |
Set the criteria
| - |
Click
The criteria can be any combination, and the relationship between them is AND. EG if you select Not Included & BS in Postcode Area you will get a list of outlets which are both not included and in the BS postcode area.
To remove the filter, so that you can see all the outlets again, just click
| |
Select Included to view outlets you have included.
Select Not Included to see outlets which have not been included.
Select All to make the filter ignore whether the outlet has been included or not.
This defaults to ignoring whether the outlet is included or not.
Select a postcode area from this list to see all the outlets in the postcode area. You will see the outlets postcode area near the right of the form (PCArea). To clear this box, just double click it.
To find an outlet by its branch no. put the number in here and all outlets which have a branch no. which is the same as the one you have entered, or begins with it, will be shown.
| |
The navigation buttons at the very bottom of this form serve several purposes.
The 1 in the white box means that the record which has focus is the first record. The 335 means that there are 335 records, in this context 335 outlets.
The buttons around it mean, go to first, go to previous, go to next, go to last and go to new records.
The go to previous is grey not black as the focus is on the first record, so there cannot be a previous one. As soon as the focus is moved to another record, this will turn black.
The go to new is always greyed because creating a new outlet cannot be done here.
| |
NB When you apply a filter to the list of outlets you will notice that instead of saying 335 records, it might say 105 (Filtered). The 105 is the number of records (outlets) which meet the criteria and the (Filtered) is a reminder that what you are seeing is not a complete list.
| |
How To Use This Form
The little boxes on the left of this form are toggles. EG Each time you click one, it flips from ticked to unticked, or vice versa
To include an outlet, make sure its little box is ticked
To exclude an outlet, make sure its little box is unticked
| |
Once you have selected all the stores you want to include, or a batch of them, click
| |
| |
NB Once you have included all the stores, and made sure the changes will be visible online, it might be worth checking the number you have included. This can be done by selecting Included in and making sure all the other criteria are blank. Then click .
| |
The number on the right hand side of the navigation buttons eg 250 (Filtered) will tell you how many you have included.
| |
Click to return to list of jobs, where you can either choose another job to select outlets for, or close the application by clicking
