Online Enter Results

How do I use Online Enter Results?
How do I get my User ID and Password?
How do I Log In?
How do I enter data?
The way you enter data is as follows
| |
Why are my results important?
Clients look at rep's results to check what is happening in a store in case they need to take any action.
| |
Why do I need to report so quickly?
A promotion only lasts for a short time so the client needs to know what is happening a.s.a.p.
Consequently your brief will give you a reporting deadline (usually 48 hours after your call but always check).
We recommend though that you report your results as soon as possible.
| |
Why do I need to enter my results accurately?
Our clients see the results for any store almost as soon as you have typed them in so it is VERY important to be accurate in your Enter Results.
For example, it is feasible to move 20 boxes of stock in an hour, but not feasible to move 200.
If a client sees a figure like this they WILL ask questions.
This means that we will have to contact you for an explanation and the final reporting of your call will be delayed.
We also check the times and dates you enter against the store visitors books as part of our Quality Control procedures.
If you mis-enter these times or dates it will result in your pay being delayed or withheld until we can verify the call times for the client.
| |
What happens if I don’t meet the reporting deadline?
If you FAIL to meet the deadline for all questions being correctly answered for ANY reason then we will deduct £3 from your pay for the call.
However, if you try to report after the reporting has been closed we will not be able to pay anything for the call.

Online Enter Results
Enter Results is an online application that provides an alternative method of entering data to that of the IVR (phone based) system that has been in use for some time.
| |
Why should I use Online Enter Results?
The advantage of the online system is that you can see all the questions and answer boxes on one form. This should save time and, because the numbers you have entered can be seen before saving the data, should improve accuracy.
| |
What do I need to use Online Enter Results?
- A computer (connected to the Internet with as fast a connection as possible)
- Internet Explorer Web Browser Version 6 or later
- An Email account (not hotmail)
- A User ID and password (You can get them by registering online or calling the office)
Enter Results has been designed to work in Internet Explorer 6, and it may behave strangely or not at all if you use a different browser.
It will behave strangely if you use an older version of Internet Explorer.
For reasons of security, it would be preferable to use a private PC, rather than, say an Internet café or public library PC.
You will be responsible for keeping your password safe and not giving it out to other people.
We have no means of finding out your password, so if you forget it, all we can do is reset it.
We will track who has entered data by looking at your user ID.
The procedure is very simple. It follows the way in which you would enter data onto the store call sheet. The following pages should guide you through the process.

| |
Otherwise enter
- The URN (Unique Reference Number, used to be called the Storefriendly Reference number). This is the 8-digit number that appears at the top of the call sheet. This distinguishes which store you want to enter data for
- The Job Number which will be formatted like SC/GUE/006/056
These can be found on your worksheet. Below the Job Number is surrounded in Red, and the URN is surrounded in Pink.
| |
Once you have filled in the URN and Job Number, click and you will get a web page which looks like this.
The data is entered in the same format as it should have been entered on the call sheet, with leading zeros if the number you want to enter is smaller than the number of boxes.
| |
First of all you need to enter the date you made the call, exactly as you do on the worksheet, 2 digit day, then 2 digit month, and then the time the visit started, and then the time the visit ended. The times need to be in 24 hour format.
In this example, 18th October, starting at 9AM and ending at 1:30PM
When an numeric entry field is completed, including leading zeros, the cursor automatically moves to the next entry field so that entry is as smooth as possible.
With textual entry fields, as they are not fixed width they cannot automatically jump, so you can either move them on with your mouse, or use the Tab key.
All fields are checked during entry, and again when the entry is submitted.
| |
The questions are listed within this box, which will scroll automatically as you progress through the questions, but you can also scroll it manually, for double checking for example using the scroll bar on the right.
If you have have very long questions on your worksheet, they may be cut of on the online display, as shown below. Do not worry about this, just answer the question as if it were exactly the same as the one on the worksheet.
| |
Below the box containing questions, and the buttons below it, you will see this.
Every 2 minutes your progress is saved, so that if your connection fails for example, it will minimize your losses. You will see the message surrounded in red appear after the initial 2 minutes, and then see it updated every 2 minutes afterwards.
Surrounded in pink, you will see page numbers. If the job has a lot of questions they are spread over multiple pages. This speeds up considerably the speed with which you get the questions. This is especially pertinent when your connection speed is less than ideal.
In the bottom left of your web browsers window you may notice these countdowns or . They are just reporting the status of the automatic save.
| |
As soon as you start entering data you will notice becomes grey. This button allows you to return to the URN entry form, which you can do before you start entering data, but once you have started you should finish it.
allows you to reset all the data values to those shown when the form opened. You will be asked to confirm that you really want to do this, but USE WITH CARE.
takes you back to the original web page, and logs you out, so only do this when you really want out.
should be the button you use the most. Once you have finished entering all the data for a job, and checked there are no typos, click this to get your call reference.
You will then get this message, give you the option of backing off.
Click to get your call reference.
Make a note of the call reference number on your worksheet as you would if you phoned the IVR.
Click to return to the web page where you entered the URN and Job Number. You will NOT need to log in again.
However if you click you will return to the original web page, in affect logging out. You will be asked to confirm this, so you do not do it by accident.
| |
What happens if I make a mistake?
Log In again, then enter the relevant URN and Job Number. You will be taken to the Enter Results page and any answers already entered will be shown. You can correct the answers you want to, and then you should save the data again.
BEWARE - Any changes made after the allowed 48 hours will be flagged up as having missed the deadline for correct reporting.
